About this Issue

Abstract

The present special issue, edited by Christian Klein, Matías Martínez, and Lynn L. Wolff, is dedicated to factual comics. It focuses on today’s most successful subgenres, namely, auto-/biographical comics and journalistic comics. The introduction outlines the history of factual comics and summarizes the essays included in the issue.
