About this Issue

Abstract

The present special issue, edited by Dominik Orth, Michael Scheffel, and Wolf Christoph Seifert, is dedicated to narratives of the future. The collected contributions explore the ways in which various kinds of narratives of the future reflect upon humanity and society. The introduction outlines different narrative blueprints for the future and summarizes the essays included in the issue.
